Stay out for the morning, or make a full day of it — with the sea giving way, in the afternoon, to a slow walk through Pula or Rovinj.

Brijuni — swimming and a private island tour through a landscape that feels untouched. Or the Lim Fjord — oysters and champagne, opened by hand in the still green water of the channel.
An Afternoon Ashore
On the full-day route, the sea gives way to the city — Pula's amphitheatre or Rovinj's old town, walked slowly, with nowhere else to be.

The Afternoon
For guests taking the full-day option, the boat brings you back toward the coast by early afternoon — and the day continues on foot, through Pula or Rovinj. Pula's Roman amphitheatre, one of the best-preserved in the world. Or Rovinj's old town, its bell tower visible from almost everywhere you stand. A private guide walks with you; there is nowhere you need to be.
The Choice: Brijuni or the Lim FjordThe Lim Channel is unlike anything else on the Istrian coast.
Every Stramare begins with the same question: which sea do you want today?
Departing from Rovinj, the route runs to Brijuni — a national park of islands so untouched they feel like they belong to another century. Swimming in clear water, a private tour of the island, and a stillness that's hard to find anywhere else on this coast.
Departing from Poreč, the route runs instead into the Lim Fjord — a submerged river valley where fresh water from the hills meets the salt of the Adriatic. Oysters are opened by hand, right in front of you, and a bottle of champagne is poured on the water. Both routes are entirely private. Neither is better — only different.
The Return
Whichever route you choose, the journey back is unhurried. Your skipper knows when to slow the engine. By the time you return to shore, you will have spent the day completely outside of ordinary time. That is, in the end, what Stramare is designed to give you.

Which route should we choose — Brijuni or the Lim Fjord?

If you'd like to swim and explore an island, Brijuni is the better fit. If you're drawn to oysters, champagne, and a quieter, more sheltered stretch of water, choose the Lim Fjord. We're happy to help you decide based on what you're staying near.
Do I need sailing experience?

Not at all. Your skipper handles everything — you simply enjoy the ride.
What if someone in our group doesn't eat oysters?

Let us know in advance. Both routes are wonderful on their own, and we always make sure everyone is comfortable.
Should we choose the full day or the half day?

The half day is a focused morning at sea. The full day adds an unhurried afternoon on land — ideal if you'd also like to see Pula or Rovinj without planning it separately.
